The History of Selinko Whippets.

Lady qualified for Crufts at her first Ch. show, (The Whippet Club). She won Minor Puppy, Puppy, Maiden and Best Puppy in Show, under Mrs Audrey Rolls and Mrs Joanna Russell (Dog Judge). She then took the R'CC at Peterborough under Dorothy Gardener.

We Were Bitten by the Show Bug!!!

We went Back to Sheila and Vic Ward and purchased Silver Bambi Of Selinko. Bambi was mated to Gillian Ussher's Marlins Dusty Miller of Iniskhelltr, (later to become a champion) and produced our famous Beautiful Fawn Girl Ch. Selinko Another Lady (Fern). She won many awards during the 80's not least winning 3 Best in Show's at the Whippet Club Wales Ch. Show, 3 BIS. NWA. Ch. Show, Best of Breed Crufts for 3 consecutive years, culminating in Reserve Hound Group, under Anne Argyle at Crufts.

Fern was also a Breed Record Holder winning 24 CC's 21 B.O.B's and

9 R'CC's.

Out of Painted Lady we produced, Selinko Shalama (Zac) by Courthill The Comedian, (the start of our five generations of Courthills). The son of Zac produced many fine whippets including Ch. Spyanfly He's A Trooper

(Dam Celestial Star).

Lady also produced Selinko Celestial Star, who again produced many top whippets including Ch. Spyanfly Say No More, owned by Pauline Oliver.

Ch. Selinko Another Lady (Fern) produced some lovely puppies over the generations with us, not least, Shades Of Fern At Selinko, who mated to Selinko Sorrello (see Gallery) has produced Two lovely Pups Sel. Shakira And Sel. Gold Blend.

Sorrello and Sel. Sandie (see Gallery) (sister) both Crufts Qualified 2003 are descended from Sel. Nice Fella (Ferns brother) So our lines still go on.
